One of the things I love most about my job is that no two weddings are ever the same. Last year I shot my first Jewish and Greek weddings and adored them both, especially all the traditional dancing. They were so much fun to photograph, this year I have my first Indian wedding and I’m really excited. I’ve been talking to Lucy and Vicki (Ben’s Friends on my website) for some time now about how we could work together to do an Indian bridal shoot. So, when Sarina a good friend who I’ve shot earlier in the year offered to model we jumped at the chance. So my kitchen became a make shift hair and makeup salon and with the I-pod on shuffle (thankfully no embarrassing songs came up) a fantastic day was had by all. Even Byron had a great time being fussed over by three beautiful women. A huge thanks to everyone, but especially Sarina for braving the arctic conditions in her stunning sari, a far call in conditions from when she married in India. Below are a few images I captured from the day.
