Mayfair Library, London, was the venue for Marguerite and Raja’s intimate wedding ceremony on Saturday 14th March 2015.
The weather was overcast and a bit chilly, but Marguerite’s dusky pink lace dress and complementing bouquet held the promise of spring. The bride and groom were poised and elegant, as were their friends and family. The sun may have struggled to shine but you wouldn’t know it as smiles filled Mayfair Library that afternoon.
After the wedding reception, I headed with Marguerite, Raja and their small wedding party to Cipriani Restaurant, which is just a few minutes’ walk from Mayfair Library.
Marguerite and Raja had asked me to provide a bespoke wedding photography package, providing two hours’ coverage. During this time, I took photographs of the wedding ceremony at Mayfair Library, family portrait shots and shots of the couple at and nearby the wedding venue, and some shots at the restaurant, before bidding everyone goodbye.
Marguerite and Raja’s wedding just goes to show that a one-size-fits-all approach to wedding photography just doesn’t work. By offering them a bespoke package to suit their unique requirements, Marguerite and Raja were able to carve out family-only time and have professional photographs of all the big moments from their wedding day.
I thoroughly enjoyed shooting this wedding at Mayfair Library. Marguerite and Raja are a lovely couple and great fun to be around.
Some very kind words from the bride and groom.
Ben thank you for shooting our day which exceeded all of our expectations! You were the consummate professional, made us feel at ease and really captured the moments that would have otherwise only lived in our memories! All the best from all of us for a bright and successful future.
