Marie and Seb’s wedding took place in Devon, so rather than doing the long drive on my own Cass and I made a long weekend of it. When I took the booking in the summer of last year I had great plans of camping but the closer we got to the day we chickened out and decided not to trust the inclement weather that we were experiencing and opted for hiring a static caravan at the beautiful Hope Cove. While I was at the wedding I think Byron (my dog) got the longest walk of his life along the Devon coast.
The ceremony was held in the beautiful St Mary the Virgin Church in Churston Ferrers. Both Marie and Seb are very passionate about animals, Marie is a veterinary nurse and Seb has been on safaris in African on numerous occasions. After the ceremony they travelled by horse drawn carriage to a superb abandoned old school for their bridal shoot. It was a fantastic location; I wish that we had had more time to explore.
The reception was held at Barcelo Imperial Hotel, Torquay and as a surprise for Seb, Marie had organized a Bird of Prey to make an appearance when they arrived.
Thanks for having me as your wedding photographer it was great to be part of your day.
