My first wedding in Scotland saw me shooting Bryony and Duncan’s wedding at Kinnaird House in Dunkeld. It was a slightly different start to my day than normal as the boys went off for a morning clay pigeon shoot. I was then back on familiar ground with the bridal prep. It was a great morning on both counts with lots of laughs and smiles. Bryony also had the added pressure of making her own bouquet (you did a great job)
It was a short drive to Dunkeld Cathedral for the ceremony, they both looked amazing in their wedding attire. Bryony’s uncle conducted the ceremony, which made it all the more amazing. There was time afterwards to make the most of Dunkeld Cathedrals stunning setting for the group shots and some bridal portraits. It was then back to Knnaird House for the reception. After the wedding breakfast, some fantastic speeches and the chance for a few more bridal portraits. It was then time for the first dance followed by what can only be described as an awesome party. After the first dance at many weddings the dance floor just empties and seems to stay that way apart from a few guests. This wedding was the complete opposite; the dance floor was packed the whole night and my goodness these guys could party.
Thank you guys for choosing me as your wedding photographer it was such a pleasure to be part of your day. As always there is a selection of my favourite images below, this time there are rather more than normal as I just loved so many of them. Also some very kind words from the bride and groom.
“Oh my dear goodness Ben, the photos are just amazing. I mean, AMAZING! You have captured the day impeccably. Dunc and I have just been through each and every one and it feels like we’ve relived every moment – thank you so so so much!!! Honestly lost for words.
From start to finish you have been such a pleasure to work with. Thank you for being so amazingly accommodating on the day and for these spectacular pics which will cherish forever. We simply couldn’t have asked for more.”
“To reiterate what Bryony said, the photos are absolutely incredible!! Having seen some of your previous work we were expecting them to be amazing but we definitely weren’t prepared for just how awesome they actually are. We loved all the little surprise shots which we weren’t expecting such as the rings—brilliant!”
