Kathryn and Will held their wedding at the spectacular Rhinefield House in the New Forest. I can’t believe I’ve travelled to all corners of the Earth and this was my first visit to the New Forest. From what I saw it looked stunning and I’ll have to go back and have a proper look. Considering the summer we are having the weather on their day was just beautiful.
The day started with the girls getting ready in one part of the hotel and the boys in another. There was no chance that Kathryn was going to be late for the ceremony as it was just a walk down the stairs. Before the wedding breakfast there was a nice amount of time for the guests to enjoy the fine weather in the garden. The grounds and the inside proved to be a wonderful backdrop for photography.
I’ve been to a lot of weddings and seen a lot of table planners but never one themed around Arnold Schwarzenegger. The idea came from the fact that Commando is one of their all time favourite films, in my opinion this is defiantly one of Arnie’s better ones.
Sadly Kathryn and Will had both lost a parent so along with their speeches (yes the bride did one too) being some of the funniest I’d ever heard they were also the most emotional, not a dry eye in the house.
Here are some of my favourite images that sum up the day. I was delighted to have been their wedding photographer.
