On Valentine’s Day 2015, love was well and truly in the air at the Bluebird restaurant in Chelsea, London, and I had the great privilege of photographing the wedding and reception of Reshmi and Sarit.
The day dawned overcast and a bit chilly but, as the wedding and reception were at the same venue, no-one minded the winter day outside.
The Bluebird restaurant is a leading London restaurant, serving Chelsea’s local community but designed to a grand scale. It’s sophisticated, elegant and a fantastic venue for a London wedding. The restaurant can accommodate wedding celebrations for up to 230 guests, as well as smaller wedding parties.
Reshmi and Sarit’s wedding was a fun and intimate occasion that took place in the beautiful, light-filled space of the Gallery Room at the Bluebird restaurant. Accents of purple and magenta, as well as bright yellow buttonholes, added vibrancy to the room, and perfectly suited the bride and groom.
The happy couple booked me for four hours to photograph their wedding itself and the early stages of their reception, including the speeches. I was also able to take some photographs of the gorgeous couple and family group shots against the art deco-style windowed exterior of the Bluebird restaurant.
By offering bespoke wedding photography packages, I find I am able to offer the bride and groom the flexibility to make the most of their budget, while capturing all the big moments of their wedding day.
