The Chapel Down Vineyard near Tenterden, Kent is one of my favorite wedding venues to shoot at. Sarah and Mark are so warm and welcoming, it was such a pleasure to capture their big day for them.
Accompanied by my good friend Catherine Hill we started the day at the beautiful George Hotel in Rye, Kent. The wonderful Lucy Jane Makeup met us there, I can’t recommend her enough, her work is magical. We had to make sure the girls stayed out of site the boys who also got ready here.An old London route master bus was put on to transport people to The Swan at Chapel Down.
As a regular Chapel Down wedding photographer I see the venue often, but it looked particularly stunning basked in the early summer sunshine, such an amazing backdrop for any wedding. The ceremony took place outside in the herb garden and afterwards everyone spilled out onto the lawns for canapes and numerous glasses of Chapel Down’s own sparking wine. Everyone was then treated to an amazing wedding breakfast, the food here is second to none. It was then over to the DJ to get the party started.
Some very kind works from Sarah and Mark.
“If you’re looking for a professional yet unobtrusive wedding photographer, Ben is your man – he has a natural flare for photography, and from the moment you meet him he will put you at ease. We loved having Ben with us on our day – his presence was so natural, and he is the perfect gent. However, the proof they say is in the pudding, and wasn’t the pudding awesome – Ben captured our day in so many beautiful ways, he has an invaluable gift for capturing moments that shouldn’t be underestimated”
If your looking for a Chapel Down wedding photographer please do get in touch as I’d love to chat about your big day with you.
